4:56's will be your all around best ratio to go with. I chose them because at the time when I got the gears, I was running 35's, and knew I would be running them for a while. I does help your gas mileage and I average about 21 mpg on the highway with a 4.6L. These gears will also allow you to increase up to a 37" tire for us 2wd's with no issues. They'll turn 37's fine. In fact, I have two other buddies that are brothers, both with this 2wd lift kit, one with 35's and one with 37's. The one with 4:56's has 37's and no problems. And the one with 35's still has his stock 3:55's and they do fine also. Any other info. just ask!

Hey man i was talking with some guys about running 35"+ tires on my 2wd with 8.8 rear end. the questions were about re-gearing. does your truck have a re-geared 8.8 and what gears are you running. im planning on going to around 37"s and thinking about 4.56
