I have the e4od, a much stronger transmission. Sounds like yours is slipping bad. I had all forged parts put in, upgraded sprags and drums. Also had race clutches, and a race valve body put in it. I already had a tripple disk billet stall converter

I kinda eased in and hit wot at, time 0:17. Why?

BTW what route did you end up going with your transmission?
I work at Kason Transmission here in Texarkana(2.5yrs). I've been having a problem with my trans neutraling when it shifts to 2nd at a wot punchand sometimes when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. That's why I kinda eased in on the vids. I've got another vid where it sounds like it's going to chew up the trans and spit it out....
When I did the engine swap the only thing I did to the trans was put in a stage 2 Fairbanks shift kit and a heavy duty converter from our suplier. I had the trans built about 30,000 miles ago, but that was when it had the 4.6L and it was just built to factory specs with the usual updates.
I knew eventually it would have problems and I figured I'd just have our builder rebuilt it when the time came......
So here I am. Our builder has given me to many options. I need someone to say,"this is what works". I want to know what you did to beaf up your 4R70W.

    Thanks,
    Rich

Are they the same lug pattern or do you have adapters?

Well I can get a set 15"X10" wheels cheaper than a set of 16's. Plus I plan on using a set of Nascar pull-offs to drag with and they fit 15" wheels. I can get the pull-off around here for $25.00 a piece. What is your best 1/4 mile time?

I dont really see the advantage of a 15" rear wheel, but yea it would fit.

Have you tried to put a 15" rim on the rear? I know they won't fit the front with the discs but I wasn't sure about the rear with the drums....Or do you have discs front and rear?
