okay the lift leafs will completely replace your block or you can run the stock small block. the basis is, the smaller the block, the less axle wrap you have! and yes thats what axle wrap is!

I guess to make sure what I'm feeling is axle wrap - When I take off from a stop it feels the same as if something was in the bed of my pickup and slid towards the tailgate hard. Does that sound like axle wrap to You?

I used to have an AAL, and when I put it in I cut out the clamps at the ends so I could install it. When I did the 4" I installed the 4.5 block and removed the AAL. I think that's where my problem is coming from. So forgive me if this questions sounds stupid - Will the 4" leaf pack give me the same lift as the blocks do? Will I need to put my factory blocks back in and replace the packs?...

ah, i get it too, only thing to get rid of it is either get a lift leaf pack, like deaver makes a 4" lift leaf pack for about $600 for the set, or you can get some trac bars, which look coole than the lift leafs haha, Rize just came out with a set for about a grand, procomps makes them for around $450 but they arent as appealing on the eyes but serve the same purpose. Or you can fab up some of your own, its not to hard if you can get a handle on some tubing, a bender, notcher and a good welder!
