Hey man i forgot where it was when you said how the 04-08 badges matched up to our 98's but if you could enlighten me as this may be a recent mod. also did you do the tailgate emblem?

i guess ill just have to see then. i took them off to paint them but i did the tailgate on the truck as well as the rear trim around the window. what do you think about doing the plastic on the top of the bed.

i used the same paint. i just masked off and painted. i bet it would stay if you did the right prep work. im just lazy

what kind of paint did you used and did you use and adhesion promoter? i used the new krylon fusion. i guess if they start to peel its like 30 bucks for smooth ones to paint and maybe either another newer truck and alot more money to play with

few months for them to start. its been almost a year and they are 1/2 way undone.

how long did it take for them to start chipping my only thing is on the door handles i scratch one slightly with my key

yeah i did them but they are already chipping. i doubt i will do them again. masking off the bed was a PITA since they cannot be removed.

yea idk about doing the black out tail lights. dont think it would work with my truck and im thinking about keeping the stock look and only doing subtle mods. have you done the bed side plastic pieces? idk if thats what they looked like from the factory or are faded or how they would look painted black. i already did the wiper cowl, grille, mirrors and all the handles

yeah x2 on the window surround. i have since put 2 coats of VHT nightshade on my 3rd brakelight to make it better blend in with the black.
