Yeah i'm on cardomain, I joined this forum to help others get ideas from my truck and if I have any questions for the experienced people on here also. So far I got help already for the h.i.d. kit for the foglights i'm gonna be getting.

Well I've ran about 2 tanks now and the first tank was me hot rodding around with the headers. The tank I am on now my scan gauge shows 17 mpg over 200 miles with 50 of that being hwy, but I was going into a crosswind both ways so I only got about 20 on that (usually 23-24 on hwy). So I would say the mpg gains are there, the power gains are not noticeable without my scan gauge. only like 2 or 3 hp. My exhaust sounds WAY better now, got a nice deep roar to it. I would say that it is worth it though, in about a month I will know more about mpg's.

thanks for the compliments man!! your truck is looking dang good too! as for the stickers, taking them off is a must!! i just got a blow dryer and you put it on the highest setting and run it back and forth over the sticker and then it peels right off with no problems. when i took them off i had no difference in paint coloration or anything. but if there is any a good waxing of the area should take care of that. as for the painted handles and mirrors it only cost me $100 for it all because i work at a ford dealership so i was able to basically use our paint shop at the bodyshop to sand and paint all of the handles myself. the $100 was for materials and booth time at my work. another route to go with your handles and mirrors is to just buy some OEM FX2 handles, since your truck is dark shadow gray you would be able to find some OEM painted ones in your color already b/c they made Fx2s in dark shadow gray. How do u like that S&B intake?? any help with mph and hp? i am looking into getting one of those pretty soon to pair up with my superchips programmer.

I could feel it pushing me into the seat a little in econ. mode, havent put my programmer in performance yet cuz i have a small leak to fix. There was deffinately a gain. As far as changing to 373 i would do it. My 4.6 can beat my cousins 5.4 and until my headers we had the same performance mods, so that would really help you out. The only thing is if you have a lift or someone to help you put the headers on becuase it took me and my dad (30+ years of automotive experience) about 12 or 14 hrs to do. Good Luck.

    Hey.
Well I actually just got them on last night.
I went and test drove it with my scan gauge that displays horsepower and gained 3-4, and I dont have it to read torque yet, but i would assume 15-20 there. I already have the full dual exhaust so i didnt get the full results that the jba dyno sheet said which was 9 hp and 29 or 39 ft. lbs torque. I also got 18 mpg on the 4 mile trip that i made getting on it 3 times to see the hp. It will take a few tanks to know if this really helps. But if you want to know what i have done mpg wise, here it is.
All stock except true duals (got them right after i got the truck) 12 mpg
    Fitch fuel catylist 13.54
Superchip on economy 15.31 (also switched to 90 octane from 88 this tank, savings in mpg pay for going to premium and then some)
