    Thank you for your help!

Yes, that is what I need I guess!

I was just looking at the post from james-06cl.

    "JJDH,

My sub was popping as well. The HU sends 12 volts via the blue and white amp turn on wire to the stock amp. The Ford amp and sub only use 5 volts, hence the popping.

I used a 5V Regulator from Radio Shack (The Source) and spliced it into the blue and white wire and ran it's ground lead to ground.

This will stop the popping. You can also use a resistor, not sure, I think it's a 5000 ohm one that will do the same thing."

I just want to get prepared for the installation of the hu.

If this is what you are referring to, you can solder wires on to it, or you can try to find a connector to fit. I when I used this for the factory sub and aftermarket hu, i soldered wires onto mine. middle terminal is ground. It goes inline on the remote wire.

Could you please tell me how you connect the resistor(regulator)? I just bought the same system for my 08 f150. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is my email: jwilliamf@gmail.com
    Thank you!

Thanks, i don't know much about subs and stuff. But why a mono amp instead of a 2 channel amp when theres 2 subs?

I'm very impressed with the sound system you have, how much did everything run you? I would like to pretty much duplicate your system, I'm just curious to have much money I'll be shelling out to have a good system like yours.

i have no complaints, all the features are excellent, if i had to complain it would be that since it has a hard drive it doesnt react as fast whenever u select a setting, or going from page to page, it isnt a bad thing. the boot time on initial start takes 30 seconds or somethn, i like it enough that i would purchase a second unit for another vehicle. all the features are great, the nav is flawless, works well with the stereo system... i would recommend. pioneer just came out with a new line its more expensive tho, seems they have added a few more features to the new line. the f90 is plenty for my needs.

I see that you have an emblem camera and an 07 truck. I have the same setup and was wondering if you had any pictures or advice? I'm a little confused on how to mount it....

    Thank You
