I received the photos of your exhaust system. Thanks! Looks pretty clean and easy to do with clamps. Had any problems, leaks, rattles? How is the noise tone (I'm looking for a low rumble - nothing loud).
Can you get one more photo of how the left side clears the rear axle and the spare tire so I can get an idea of how much space is there?
My 'compuserve' e-mail is messing-up. Give me a try at 'rpanzer45@yahoo.com'.

Good Lawrd - you have a bunch of gadgets. Do you have XM Radio or anything like that, too? Figured you would need it up in the canyon. I'm thinking about getting that system. I figure between a SatBased radio and my I-Pod, I'm good to go for long trips. Are you running a stock alternator? How do you like the Ultima battery. What is the difference between a Red Cell and a Yellow Cell, anyway?

    Tires-
I'm sure you mean '265/70 R17' (as in the photos on your truck - not '365').
I'm very familiar with Les Schwab. A good tire business. Done lots with them.
As for your tires, that sounds like one heck of a deal. $300 hardly seems fair. If you are good with storing them well for a while, I would very much be interested and give you $400, just for the hastle. I maybe able to have a friend fetch them on the way through Roseburg this summer, or at least I have another good reason to head south myself next year.
if you really want to do this, send me an e-mail at 'rpanzer45@cs.com' so you don't have to post your home address on this forum. We'll work out the details that way.
    Thanks for the offer.

Good to hear from you. Thanks for the info. I plan to do the same mods on my rig, plus some better tires, when I get back to the Lower-48 since what I have is still new (Only 10k on my 2yr old truck so far - I'm only home to drive it so often) and shipping charges are painful. I'll be back in the PNW by next winter.
I have some friends in Roseburg, though I have not been there in years. I have not been to Diamond Lake since 1982. I did make it down to Grants Pass last summer to play on the Rogue for a week. Good times.
Good luck with your rig and your hobby. Thanks again for the Mod Info.

I had the CAI system (AFE Magnum Force) and the Gibson Extreme Dual Exhaust (All T304 Stainless) installed at the same time. Installation of the CAI was no problem, the stock exhaust was a pain in the butt to remove but the Gibson went in with no problem, easy. I went for the Gibson because it was not as loud as some of the others. I do notice significant acceleration improvement with this combo. I do have a 3.73LS rear end which really helps. My mpg has increased about 100 miles per tank according to my odometer. I would do it again in a flash. I live 28 miles east of Roseburg up in the Cascades. I'm really in to photography, therefore, I need constant weather and fire reports, this is where the scanner and the internet play a major role. My laptop really comes in handy when I want to review images on the road.

Nice looking Rig. What do you use if for, with all those gadgets? You a S&R guy?
I have a similar rig in the '07 XLT package with a few add-ons. I'd like to know more about your Air Intake system and your Cat Back dual exhaust. Who made them? Ease of install? Noticable performance gains? How noisy? Worth the money? I'd like to so the same with my rig.
Where you at in Oregon? I'm a Coos Bay transplant myself, now in Alaska.
