Well - I did not get the teaching job, so I will not likely be down there over Christmas. Not at all sure what is next now. Talk of something in DC or Barstow (how is that for choices?). I'm strongly against either. Looking for something else now - at least in some Mtn states or west of the Mississippi. Maybe passing through in the Spring sometime. Hope to meet you then.

Bitterroot Wheel Question: If you reach though the spoke holes of your wheels to the backside, is there a cast lip or flange on the backside of the spoke?

I ask because of the Hi-Lift Jack Wheel Lift Adapter that consist of two hooks to lift the a vehicle by the tire/wheel instead of the bumper. Will Bitterroots support that lifting technique?

Heard the 'Otter Tales' from the source yesterday. Tires are safe. 'Paj' (Pride & Joy) the Trailer made it home fine, but 'Bertha' the Blazer did not. Gave up the tranny 15 miles short of the barn. Recovery was required. Now she is just sitting bleeding in the barn until they can figure out the problem.
Always and Adventure... but what fun would it be otherwise? We've got 25 years of stories like this...
