Hi Ryan,
The picture with the backup camera is just showing the new frame and lights that Alpine came out with. I actually have had this camera since last November and have had no major problems. The minor problem has been rain water on the lens which will cause some distortion. This is far out weighed by the rear view whether it's day or night. The hot weather was today and it's suppose to be a little hotter tomorrow. But you are use to that type of weather. I want it to be 70 degrees and clear.

The hardest part was getting the old one out (in there good after 16 years). Get yourself some DIN tools and just work at it (you can be rough). make sure you order your stuff from crutchfield and you will get harnesses and instructions. I havent done speakers yet but one of them is going out so ill be replacing them soon.

Well I am pretty sure I use the 5W-20 weight Mobil 1. I use the one thats closest to the original weight. I have used this oil since the first oil change and have had no problems what so ever in the heat. And we're talking 115 in the summer here where I am in HELL (Yuma). I know the shop at work has started to put Royal Purple in all of our work trucks, not sure of the weight though.

And yeah, hahaha, I used to live almost in Mexico, about 5 miles from the border. There is some georgeous* terrain out there in the high desert (around 6000 feet). Its much like El Paso, I think. Flagstaff is so nice. They get nice snow fall (not as much as Alaska I'm sure) and the weather is great in the summer. Its funny but as you come down here Ill be tryng to go up to WA!

Hey, its awesome country. I havent been there in awhile either. Not sure you know where Tucson, AZ is but its about 120 miles S/E of there.

Yeah it was a canine patrol vehicle. Dog was fine, if there would have been passengers in the other vehicle they would have been toast. Im happy with how the truck held up, no cab intrusion what so ever. Crumple zones did thier job and the engine went down and in. Crazy.
