thats good to hear! im new to bass boats but im already in love with my triton tr20x it has a merc optimax 225, it gps at 80.3mph lol def a fun boat. a pontoon boat would be fun just for cruising around relaxing and drinking beer! lol

Yea I've been pretty pleased with it, fast enough for me anyway. Never had any trouble out of it (knock on wood) in the 7 yrs I've had it so I'm sold on Mercury. It's a smaller bass boat, 18', so yea, 150 is plenty of HP. I've been looking at a Pontoon with a 50HP and I'm thinking...that's not gonna cut it but the Pontoon would be more for cruising. How do you like your Triton?

Thanks, got mine new in '04, ProCraft 192 SuperPro w/ Mercury 150HP , love that boat. Was thinking about selling it but might as well hold on to it for a lil while longer. Maybe a few more years then Im thinking about getting a Pontoon Boat
