Hey man, the only mod you have to do is cut a slot in the two honey comb things in the lower grille. Two brackets bolt up there, and then it bolts underneath near the tow hooks. You get to keep the tow hooks with this grille guard. Very nice in my opinion.

Hey man I was looking into getting a ranchhand grill guard and was wondering if you could tell me how it mounts... if there's anything different from a normal one (like ones that just mount where the tow hooks are).
