hey i found my Hood on Ebay without the vents check it out

it also has free pick in San Diego so you could drive and pick it up instead of paying 145$ for shipping

i know i haven't been able to find really any cowl hoods for the 04-08 just scoops and like u said if they do they look weird if i come across one i will be sure to let u kno

i love cowl hoods, but it seems like they either don't make them for the 04-08s or they just look weird. i like yours but not that steel one. the ones for 97-03s look awesome... too bad

i jut realized i never answered you on what kind hood i had
it a Carbon Fiber One Hood painted black but unfortunately its not made anymore

where did u get your e-fans at? i was thinking about doing that for my 4.6 to get a little more power off the line

It revs quicker. One cool aspect is the fact that there is no fan to turn anymore so when I let off the gas it just coasts freely. This allows the truck to get better mileage. Basically yes, the truck is faster. I am confident to say that I have one of the quickest n/a 4.6ers around and without a doubt these E- fans are part of the reason. Definately worth the $275 I paid plus free shipping. Troyer and other complete setups are way overpriced.
