    Supplies you will need
1.base coat(i got 3 handles and mirror caps with 1 can but you can judge how many you want)
2.clear coat 1 can was plenty for all my painting
    3.adhesive promotor
    4.sandpaper from 180 to 1000
    5.painters tape and newspaper
6.primer/filler any kind will work but i used duplicolor but if you use this it will come out more smooth

this is where you can get your supplies

if you want to take your handles off you can but i found it a pita because i did it with one handle and decided just to tape the other handles off
but anyways start by cleaning with dawn soap or any degreaser, sand it starting with lower grits first and work your way up to 1000 then wash again with soap, let it dry then you will need to tape it off
    now to the painting
    1.adhesive promotor 1-2 coats
    2.primer/filler 2-3 coats
    3.adhesive promotor again 1 coat
    4.base coat 3-5 coats
    5.clear coat 2-3

let it dry in between every single coat(yes its a long process but the more time you put into it the better it will come out)and if you can try to get in a garage it will help even though i didnt it would help so you would have to tape off so much but if you cant just make sure you use alot of newspaper and tape and last if you search through the threads you will get a lot of tips so the more studying and time you take the nicer it will turn out(search PTM handles or DIY stuff or any kind of search like that)... if you have any questions about this or confused about somethin let me know i probably made something confusing in there
