When you painted your driveshaft did you take it off or just paint it while you were underneath?

the clear corners ? those are ebays finest lol. had them for about a year now , with no problems, just make sure you run a bead of silicone around the edges before you put them on. i think they ran me about $120

Do you know how to solder? What I did when I had speakers on the head unit is take the stockers out, cut off the plugs, then solder the plugs onto the new speakers. Then just clip them in like stock and you're good to go. You can also get adapter plugs on crutchfield if you dont want to solder.

Yeah 200 bucks will easily get you 2 pairs of those speakers. They sound pretty good off just the headunit. Later on when you have more cash, throw a 4 channel amp on them and they will rock!

With only 200 bucks I would just change out the speakers. The best option for speakers just run off the head unit IMO are Polk Audio dB571. They are a 5x7 speaker and direct replacements for stock. If later on you can afford an amp, they will sound even better.
