Sorry it took so long to get my pics. I finally had a rain day and had some time. Here is a link to my photobucket site and my radio and sub/box pics are in there.

Dude, the 10 rocks for me in my crew. It all depends on how much bass you want. I just found out, long story short, that I have 1200w of amp pushing my sub. When it comes to systems I would be a novice too. All I know is that it hits in my truck and the bass level is only on 2 and it goes to 6 and thats not even with the loud feature on. When that is on all you hear is bass and a little music. (depending on what you're listening to) Ill still try to get those pics for you so you have an idea of what I'm working with, its been a little busy at work puttin in 10-12hr days 6 days a week.

Well, I just bought another Kenwwod KAC821 for $40, should get it in a couple of days. So now I have (2)-Kenwood KAC 821 & (1) MTX 4004. Now I need to figure out just how am I going to install them..probably pay an out of work installer to come to my house :)

Working on my Jeep as too easy~ nothing to screw up; I feel a bit over my head with this system~ I'm truely a novice, I don't understand anything that Low E says in the forum. Funny, because I'm an engineer~ I do civil work!

So your 10 thumps pretty good?? I calculated that the box under the seat has a true volume of 1.03 ft3. SHould I even think about (2)-10's???

My 10" is AWSOME!! I wanted enough bass to make the music sound great but when I turn the loud feature on all you hear is bass. Very tunible to how you feel! The nice thing is that the 10" is enough for me especially when its filling such a small area of the cab of the truck. The package was in the truck when I bought it a year ago. I still don't know what kind of amp I have, it is mounted behind the rear seat and the back of the seat is fixed and I don't know how to lower it to check out the amp. I have a custom box for the sub and the fit n finish is great, doesn't move a bit. I dont know how much room you have under your seat for a box. I like the aftermarket headunit because it's smaller than the stock unit and to fill the void there is a little shelf for my wallet and gum under the aftermarket headunit.

When I get time I will try to remember to get some pics for ya.

I have the same truck, but a SCAB... almost the same set up. I'm working on a audio set-up. Any pics of your HU and sub. How does the 10"explode work for you?
