you bet man. hmm... not sure on the struts, haven't really checked em but i doubt it would hurt em really considering the amount of weight it adds is probably less than 125-150. i have a v6 which also weighs less than the 8 so i don't know how to factor that. as far as mileage, its hard to say, i dont recall my mileage before. what's killing me is the 32.5 inch tires up from 29.5. i need gears or something, i only get like 13 to the gallon. breaking? never put it to the test, but i havent hit anyone yet! knock on wood...

i'm not sure exactly how much it weighs, but when i talked to the guy before installing it, he said it should weigh just a little more than adding a ranchhand style grillguard. this is because it replaces the bumper (which weighs i dont know what) and its not a full steel tube like you see on superduties. i would guess around 150-200 but thats pure guess. dont think it dropped the front down all that much. i'm really happy with it, the only thing is that the powder coat didnt hold up too well to the coastal sandblasting. but as you can see in my album, i repainted it with little time and money.

hey boss, my front end is a frontier gear full replacement. it ran me about 450 due to a few scratches in the powder coat that the guy gave me a real deal on. krylon fixed that right up. normally runs about 750 or 8 i believe.

i also added some generic jeep looking tow hooks to the outer sides of the vertical push bars with a little help from my dewalt.

think the website is frontiergearusa.com but im not sure

    fabtech says 5" backspacing
CST says no more than 4.75

so you'd need wheel spacer or different wheels it looks like.

ur 2wd, there is something bigger than 4.88 you can fit, im pretty sure its 5.13, one member on here has them in his truck.

whats your wheels backspacing? i think you need around 4 1/2 give or take a little.

its about time! im guessin your leavin the leveling kit on to get 8" of lift? i bet you can get away w/ 37's, and since you 2wd why not go to 5.13's for some extra performance. i think thor? has 38's on his 2wd and he said minimal rubbing w/ them. travis08 also has a 2wd ask him if he rubs at all w/ his 35's. 37's would look sick. keep me updated.
