When I changed my cluster led's, that was all I did. The other led's, like power window buttons, cruise control, etc, all require disassembly and soldering, etc, much more involved than just swapping the bulb.

Don't know... have you been doing all your maintenance? New oil filter, air filter, fuel filters? It could be the 3.55 vs the 3.73 gears, but there still shouldn't be that much difference. Any aftermarket parts you've added?

I have no idea the cost, but if you have failing injectors, it will cost a lot less than a new engine!

Do you let it idle a lot to warm up? Do you sit at lights and stop signs for long periods? Idleing really cuts into the mileage, but still, that's too low. You might have the dealer check out the injectors. You know they are subject to failure and can cause hydralock.

Your short trips are going to use more gas. My daily commute is almost 20 miles one way. In 5 miles, your engine hardley gets to maximum efficient operating temp, 195 degrees. However, I would expect you to get closer to 14. Are you filling it up completely each time and dividing the number of gallons into the miles driven since last fillup?
