    how well do the clips hold the maglite?

    It is 100% secure in the brackets. I have been running it like this for about a year with absolutely no issue. The light is ALWAYS right where it is supposed to be.

    It's convenient to have in that location too. Seems that I do a lot of loading/unloading in the dark and frequently used to forget to grab the Maglite from my cab. This way it is always back there and ready to go.
