    Alright i'll check it out...
    thanks for your help man
i'll have to put up a thread of the brush guard build along with the traction bar Im going to build and hopefully if i can find an old hitch...

gotta sell the 4 wheeler to get some cash for my own project.

question: Can I weld directly onto the rear axle tubing without any side effects of the fluids inside?
or is that a no go?

Hey buddy, thats for the compliment my truck is down right now. But should be back up and running on a set off 44's very very soon. Keep an eye out for the build thread.

anyways, on your question. I had originally got a set of open tow hooks, from autozone, but since they were only mounted on one side of the frame horn when id get pulled they would bend that section of the frame horn. I got tired of it so decided it was time for a change. i took a hitch off a junk 87 bronco and cut the brackets of it. Then i welded that directly to the frame. The first time i used it the welds across the back broke and it bent upward and bent the brush gaurd. But it got me out of the hole. I have recently put some 1/4" steel plate on it to add support. Since then i havent used it. If you would like ill go snap a close up picture
