Hey Fairlaner, I'm really liking your valance with out the fog light cut outs. Where did you get that, or is it stock? I've got the stock 2wd valance and I did a pretty crappy job cutting out the notches for my bull bar. The one you have would look awesome, thanks.

I enjoyed viewing your recent 'Wheeling' album. Those are really the kind of photos I like to see; real trucks doing real truck things, like exploring the back-country and working the ranch. Polished trucks are nice to look at - but that is about where it ends. Slopping in a mud-hole next to a WalMart Parking Lot is fun to watch others do, but is generally pointless and not for me. No - seeing trucks using their capabilities to work and get into far away places is what is really cool.
Your rig seems to handle it well. Your rig's tan color really blends into the desert and mountains well (I'm assuming your 4xTrip was in SoCal somewhere - Barstow?). You can definately go 'un-noticed' when you want to.
Sometimes it is nice to 'not be seen'.

Thank you for your help on the seat. I just looked at your pictures. A 67 Fairlane was my first new car. 2dr ht, 289 with a 3 speed on the column. Great car. Seeing yours, I wish I still had mine.

I've had two of these 7700 bi-fuels ('00 and '03) which I've put a total of 150K on. Of those miles, I think I've burned 3 tanks of LPG. As I remember, the truck cranked about twice as long to start, but ran well (I don't ever tow or carry a load, but WOT numerous times a day). We have approx 20 of these trucks in my immediate work area and the LPG systems have been troublesome. The last time I tried using the LPG, the truck wouldn't start.

The wheels are stock 16" expy wheels. I painted the edges of the openings black (See photos in my 'low buck mods' gallery) which really changed the look of them.
