Amazingly well actually. I even hauled a load of rock in my bed and put a few dings and scrapes in them and you cant even tell. The metallic paint seems to match the original plastic very well but gives it a nice texture with a little metal flake in it for some pop. its all in the prep work. I painted some white light covers with the same paint but skimped on the prep and they are scratching badly. The plastic on the bred rails already has some depth to it so I think it holds alot better on that.

I hope to get them around the end of May. If I can find a buyer for my stock rims then it will be much sooner. I hope it looks good.

The only performance mods right now other than stock are the gotts mod and magnaflow high flow cats. I get about 12 in town, 15-16 interstate @ 70-75 mph, but it shoots up to around 18-19 if I can hold it around 60. Bigger tires without regearing actually lowers your RPM at highways speeds, and without aftermarket wheels, can actually increase the gas mileage at highways speeds for our trucks depending on the weight of the tire. I went from 33" BFG AT's to these 35" Toyo AT's and noticed a MPG gain! The BFG's were much heavier.

Hawg man I was wondering if you have hauled anything with oversized tires and if you have had any issues? I somtimes haul a horse trailer and didnt know if I was going to have to adjust my gears or anything. I have a Jet Performance programmer that I have yet to set up and maybe that will help. I dont want to ruin my transmission after getting these sweet new tires... hahah

    Thanks

Ive only had them painted for maybe 2 weeks. I did a write up on them under the appearance products page. I should have done a clear coat over them so I think I will go back and do that.
