Honestly, I got mine to that point also, but needed only to replace a parking brake switch so I didn't need any further. I think I got it as far as needing the cable off. I can't remember if the 3 bolts were it aside from the cable. Sorry I couldn't do more for ya, just unplug also the switch and find out how to undo the cable from the pedal.

Hi i was reading one of your posts about the E brake pedal you were helping another member out with a question. I have a 2000 expedition XLT 4x4 with rear disc. I have a set of q logic kick panels for my componet set. I need to heat up the e brake pedal and bend it over so it can clear the kickpanel. I tried unbolting the e brake assembly it was 3 10mm bolts holding it down. I got all the bolts off but i couldnt pull it out it i dont know if its hooked in or something or im missing somthing. The assembly was all loose and i could wiggle it around pretty good but it didnt wanna come out so i just stopped so i woudnt break anything. If you could let me know what im doing wrong i would appreciate it.

    Thanks, CHong
