They are galvanized " L " brackets that you can buy at Home Depot or Menards. I took four of the 6" ones, bolted them together to make a " Z " and had to cut some length off of the bottom portion so it would not but against the radiator or to be exact the air conditioner cooler.

Nice rig man! What kind of setup do you have? Do you have just a leveling kit or a lift also? I'm trying to get the same look for my truck. Is your truck 4x4 or 2x2?

I run 42 pounds in mine, seem like anything more just about beats you to death on the highway. So far I have had really good wear at that setting.

Well I finally decided to order my tires & wheels. I went with the same size tire as yours. Can you tell me what tire pressure you use? I drive mainly on highways so I'm looking for the most comfortable ride possible. thx man

The wheels that I have on are 20x9 with a 5.9" backspace. Prior to the spacers I had no rubbing at all so if one was to go with these tires I am sure you could go with a rim that has as little as 4.5" backspace with minor trimming. That should give you plenty of options. The spacers are only for looks, I just wanted the tires to stick out a little more without going with a wider tire. I may leave them on but will probably take them off during the winter since it flings stuff up the side pretty bad now.

    Hey man

I absolutely love your truck. It is so clean and the stance is EXACTLY what i am looking for. I came really close to ordering the same setup the other day but I am a little nervous about using spacers and I know that you have not had any problems and I might be a nerd but it would make me a little nervous. When you were searching for wheels did you find any 20x9s that came from the factory with about 6 inches of backspace? I have talked to a couple other guys on here and it seems like they are available but I just cannot find them.

ps. Would you care if I referenced pics of your truck in a thread to show exacly what i am looking for and if anybody has any ideas? Your truck is perfect! Excellent taste!

BTW Im definitely going with BFG All-Terrains and you almost have me convinced to go white letters out. My brother has been working on me with that one. =)

I've had them on for about four months and 2k miles, not any issues that I can see and I just had the tires rotated along with a full service and brake inspection, nothing wearing that anyone could see. You have to keep in mind that often on this site, if one person should have a problem with something then it usually gets a bad rap even though there may be fifty others doing it with no issues. I wouldn't recommend them for heavy duty off roading but I'm not taking a $45K truck out jumping ditches and stuff either, a little common sense usually goes a long way.

Thanks for confirming. I spoke with another person that told me the +30mm offset would rub the control arms and our trucks are identical except for the OEM fender flares. Looks great with the spacers but I've read nothing but negative reviews about them. Have they been on your truck long?
