    you still have the fx4 gauge cluster? and do you know if it would work in my 2006 xlt

    No I did not have the plug and I had to connect my wires. That was the easy part. Make sure you have a claw puller for your steering wheel. Mine was on their good and I could not remove it by hand. There are four screws in the corners of the dash which are a bitch to get out, but with some time and patience they can be removed.

    one more thing, did you have the plug for the console in the dash or did you have to add the wiring?

    hey dude, i am contemplating doing the swap. it don't seem that hard, just alot of piddly crap. i would like to just mold the console to the xlt dash, but it sounds like a bitch to do. i am trying to find a cheap deal on a flow thru dash. so it seems pretty straight forward, take all the minor stuff of and the wheel and it should pop right out, or am i wrong?

    No it controlled with a cable, its a different cable than the colum shift

    That flow through upgrade your doing....is the shifter electronically controlled or does it do it with a cable?
