You bet I can give you some better detail on what was needed. remove that plastic oil tray. it is just in the way and it's easy to remove. Three 10mm? bolts and it is out. It also gives you a chance to clean it. The wire that was attached to the sensor seemed tricky to remove, but it was easy. I think I used a very small straight blade screwdriver. I used a 13/16 deep socket with a wobbly on about 16 inches of extention on my ratchet to remove the sensor. My wobbly was crap so I used some electrical tape to stiffen it up when I put in the new sensor. I tried to start it with the socket, but the sensor just fell back into it. I then placed a piece of plastic sandwitch bag into the end of the socket to keep the threads of the sensor out to screw it in and it still didn't work. so finally, I put the sensor in using both hands. If you have the 4wd version like mine and have big hands it won't be easy to start the new sensor. I had just enough room to get my finger tips on the sensor to screw it in. Make sure not to cross thread the new unit. Use pleanty of thread tape, or liquid teflon. I think the amount of tape that comes with the new sensor wasn't enough. When you do tighten it, don't over tighten, because it feels like you can. It is going into aluminum or pot metal, and could strip out the threads. I got my new sensor in way further that the old one was. If your wire that plugs is routed near the oil filter, now is the time to re route it to the other side. You will see what I said if it is routed incorrectly. Hope that was enough.
