Do you remember what the torque spec was for putting the new nut on was? I have heard 295ft/lbs. What did you use to reinstall the nut?

I am going to be replacing the front brakes on my 2005 f150 2wd and I was wondering if you had any info that would be helpful to me. I read on the forums where you changed yours out and you had to take the carter pin out and remove the nut with a 36mm socket. Once you do this should the rotor just pull off? also do I need to put any grease on the shaft when I put the new rotor on? Any help would be gratly appreciated.

    thanks

    Evening Blue,

as you know I have started getting a little more comfortable and adventurous with the edge I have. I have a quick question. I set my WOT shift rpm to 5300, 5300 and 4800. I found them off of the forums. Do they sound right? Also I set my shift firmness at 10, 10 and 9. Again does that sound right? My main concern is I am bouncing the rev limiter. It is set at 5400. I guess its default. Do I need to lower my WOT shift or should I up my Rev limiter? What would you recommend. I have read that JackandJanet says that the torque converter starts ballooning at these rpm's and I just dont want to inflict any unessecary damage.

Blue, I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot. I figured that is tha tit was and it is good to see it confirmed. Do I have to pull the red clip or something to pop it out before I undo the screws?
