Yeah, I really want to install it myself, but mine is also a DD. I'm planning on getting either AAL or some lift shackles to raise the rear up more. I installed the lowering kit on my old '02 F150 when I was 17, so I would think I could do this now - although the only change to the front suspension was shorter springs. It could possibly be a little while before I install it because I need bigger tires to make it look right, so I'll have to be saving up for that.

Hey man, just went and picked up my RCD lift! Was wondering though, did yours come with just 2" rear blocks? Seems like that would leave the front a couple inches higher than the rear? Also, did you install it yourself? If so, was it very difficult?

the only reason i want to put a 5.0 in the 97 is that the truck has no engine at all. i have at least three complete 5.0 engines and transmissions still in the vehicles. the cheapest 4.2 i can find was $1400. i dont want to spend that much.... i only paid $1000 for the truck
im also new to this site and havent quite figured it out yet. im tryin to find info on what i have to do to hook the wireing and stuff up but i guess im wording it wrong in the search... how do i find how to do this conversion???
