The only effective exhaust, IMO, is a true dual exhaust. Depending on where you live and the local shop prices is really going to be the main factor when it comes to cost. I managed to buy all the main components of my exhaust (magnapacks and tips) for $196, and have the local shop weld everything up for $150.

Hey man I have a 06 f150 4.6 with just exhaust what can I do that is cheap but effective

Just filled up today and managed to get 17.4 MPG's on the level 3 setting for the EDGE.
