    Matt,

I'm sorry I haven't been on the forum in a while and appologize in the delay in getting back to you on this. Yes they are the DZ99606 version. I liked them because they were as close as I could find to what was on my old 2k F150. I did alot of looking for those exact ones and the DZ were as close as I could find. The ones on the old truck had no plate on top of the bed rail and were somehow mounted from under the truck through the stakeholes (they were on that truck when I got it) and thats what I wanted again but the DZs do have a plate that the rail mounts to and then the plate is over the top of the stakeholes. I do like how these look and how sturdy they are but I live in MN and I wasn't too impressed that they showed signs of pitting after the first winter, they still clean up nice in the spring but I know the ones on my old truck had seen 8yrs of winter and never once showed any sign of salt corrosion when I traded it off.

If you still would like a closeup picture I'll gladly get a picture or two of them.

The install was pretty simple, I just attached the metal plates to the bars and then set them on the truck, then marked where I wanted them and marked holes in the little plastic stakehole covers (the metal plate wasn't going to cover the entire stakehole so I wanted to keep the plastic cover inplace) and drilled through them for the bolt it was kind of a trick to put the plastic back in to the stakehole while attaching the rails but I had a friend help so an extra pair of hands helped.

Just let me know if you still want pictures and or any more explaination of the install process (I think the pictures would help with the install explaination I gave above).

I may only have the truck another week or so though... I ordered a 2012 in august and am waiting delivery.

    Thanks,
    Andy
