no it will work with the 98 becuase my sister truck is a 98 with a 200l grille :D but thanks for the note anyway also about the link!!

It's just the grille that comes on the '01-'03 Lightnings from the factory. Here's an ebay link:

Note that you'll have to change your bumper also if you want to switch to this grille. The '99+ grilles/bumpers/bumper valance pads were changed in '99.

Hey thanks for the compliment! Which truck are you talking about? The silver one (sold) or the blue one (current truck)? I the billet grilles on ebay as well as the Lightning grille that is currently on my truck. Haha I've kind of changed grilles alot on my current truck (honeycomb, billet, lightning).
