Yeah that's good. I bet your 03 will come out great. The 4.2 was fine for the reg cab, but you need the V8 rumble with dual exhaust. I'm planning on a roush off road, but having it custom bent to go spilt side at 45's. Its funny we were both around the same ages when we bought our trucks (me 17). But yeah I love it, exactly what I wanted, paid in full, gotta love no payments ::)

Nice looking f-150s man. Its a shame that silver one only was a 4.2, great looking front end on it :)

Thanks for the compliments. I think you will like having a lifted truck if you decide to go that route. Even though it's not a 4x4, it has really helped me with having the extra clearance when off roading. I don't do anything major, but I do camp often and where I go it's fairly rough terrain. Over all I just like how much better it looks. This old truck still gets quite a bit of compliments and looks when I'm out around town. I'm running LT285/70/17 BFG AT KO's (basically 33's) on my stock wheels. I actually had these tires on prior to me lifting but they were way stuffed. I did re-gear from 3.55LS to 4.56LS which made a huge difference in performance. Especially since I tow my boat in the summer. I did this in anticipation for getting 35's eventually when these 33's wear out. I like the look of my stock wheels, I just wish they were wider. I'm thinking of going with a 16x10 or 17x10 eventually to get a wider stance.

Was your interior a easy task? I'm wanting to try this out, was it done with a spray paint can or was this professionaly done. Your interior is definately better, are you planning on doing the whole dash?

That sounds good. I want to drop mine about the same too. The only problem is the lowering control arms DJM or yeah is pretty expensive.
