unfortunately I don't know anyone with that amp. I have my system setup so that I am happy 99% of the time so I have gotten out of the car audio money pit.

Ok then if it has lowering springs you can still use either the spindle or control arms, BUT I recommend the spindle. Because once you start combining drop suspension parts ball joints and tie rod angle start to become a factor. With the spindle everything stay just how it is now except the wheel is mounted higher up which will lower the truck. If you do the control arms it will push the upper control arm further up and put the ball joint at more of an angle (since they are already at an angle with the springs more would not be a good idea)

Thats a good choice for leaf springs. the DJM control arms are tubular, the stock ones are a big cast aluminum piece, that may help determine if they are stock or not

I was going to say, your truck looks lower than stock. For the front I would suggest getting the DJM 2" control arms and use with the drop spindle. as for the rear you will need to remove the shackle and put the stock one back on, then I would use the DJM 4" flip kit, it comes with a flip kit that you can adjust the pinon angle (which is very helpful) and it comes with a lifting hanger since the flip drops it 6" the hanger will lift it back up 2".

Another option would be leaf spring in the rear, Eibach makes 3" drop, and ground force makes 4" drop ones. mcgaughy makes 4" drop leafs but they are very soft, softer than stock and are known to break. Leaf springs may be a better option if you want a stiffer back end for towing. you could get just the ground force leafs and use stock shackles or use the eibach leafs and the shackles you have most likely have another hole lower than the one your leaf spring is bolted to that will lower it another inch. So in other words eibach with your shackles in the other hole, or ground force with stock shackles.

How big of a trailer do you haul? if its small that will work ok but I would suggest ground force 70064 shocks they are an air shock made for lowered f150's specificly and you can put air in them and will lift the truck about an inch. if its a travel trailer or boat I would suggest getting firestones ride rite it uses air bags like used on air bag suspension and will do the same as the shocks but go higher and make it quite a bit stiffer.

Now tire size is going to be an issue at 4" drop in the front. I have 285/35/22 and am lowered 4.5 (4.5 because DJM control arms used to come in 2.5 or 3.5" of drop now they are just 2" or 3") in the front and with the plastic fender liners removed I dont rub. I had 305/40/22 when I was only lowered 2.5/5 and I know those would be too big for 4" front drop.

One more thing, are you sure you have the drop spindles? I have not heard of many people using them, here is a pic to confirm.

I lied, one more thing, with those spindles you can not run smaller than a 20" wheel, if you want a spare tire that you can put on the front you need an 07 navigator that came with 20" wheels stock, they have a 20" steel spare wheel

Also be sure to check out the street scene section of this site, there are some other knowledgeable people over there, although some don't like to share their secrets.

Well if you have any questions feel free to ask me. I have done a lot of research that I would be happy to share on lowering 04-12 trucks. Had to do a lot to figure out the best setup for a 4.5/8 drop like I have, and if I were to go lower I know exactly what I would do.

Well assuming that you are only wanting 2" lower in the back shackles would be the best option for you they are pretty cheap ($50-150) honestly they are all the same so don't think twice about buying a cheap one. If you are also looking to go 2" lower in the front then I would suggest the DJM lower control arms, they will keep your factory ride quality and at the same time put you 2" lower. There is also the belltech spindle that is very easy to change out (i did it in 30minutes) and again keeps the same ride quality and if you plan to go lower in the future it helps because it keeps the tie rod at the stock angle eliminating bump steer. OR you can get drop coil springs, they are the cheapest option but I don't recommend the unless you want a stiffer ride in the front, and you will need to rent a spring compressor to put them in. There are also the belltech struts that lower it up to 2" but I dont suggest those because everytime you need new shocks you will have to get new ones and they are not that cheap ($200 for a pair).

So there you have it, that is my suggestions for lowering 2"
