    Pell,
I rarely go over 2k. I try to accelerate steadily keeping my RPM/shifts around 1800-2000. I coast to stop lights and maintain a greater following distance on both the interstate and in town. http://amasci.com/amateur/traffic/trafexp.html Acceleration EATS gas.

I also drive the speed limit - drag increases exponentially with speed.

Before the programmer I averaged 17.4 (but that also included towing my 5k boat). With the programmer (and no towing - been too damn busy to go fishing) I'm averaging 18.65.

I do expect the MPG to start dropping with winter gas and longer times to get up to temp.

The number one tool? Hand calculate your mileage and keep a detailed log. You'd be surprised how much that helps you train your right foot.

    Good luck!

    Shotgunz,
How are you getting the amazing MPGs that you are? I drive fairly conservatively (rarely going over 2-3K rpm), and I am only averaging about 13.8. I don't get it. I see you have a programmer, does that help at all? I did the gotts mod and maybe that'll help a little (i'm not expecting it to), but any advice you can pass my way will be appreciated.

Yeah i could definitely use it for towing but my main concern is warranty. Is your warranty voided now?

I see you got a CTS there. I am debating on getting one but can't make my mind up. Is it worth it? What are the upsides and downsides? How many more MPG's can you get when on the Economy setting?
