I ordered from Crutchfield last week, and my stuff should be arriving Monday. I'll keep you posted on what's good and what's not worth it.

Keep in mind that I know nothing about car stereos at all, and have never installed any car audio stuff. I've ordered Infinity components for up front. I'll be drilling into the "sail panel" (the interior triangular plastic trim piece that is by the side mirrors.) for the tweeters, and mounting the mid range speaker in the door in place of the factory speaker.

The rears will get a coaxial speaker. Infinity also.

The crutchfield guys convinced me to order the Kenwood KSC-SW10 subwoofer. I will be installing this either underneath one of the front seats, or on the back wall behind the rear seats. Or I may return it if it turns out to be too much of a pain.

Removed the jack, and removed the bracket, but I was disappointed that there's no carpet under the bracket. Boooo.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat as you, I've got a supercab and I"m looking to upgrade the factory sound but nothing too crazy, I"ve also removed the jack in under rear seat so my dog Charlie can have a spot to stretch out. I was thinking about just upgrading speakers, keeping the head unit and adding an amp down the road if needed.
