Holy Crap, Man it is you! I’m doing great and you?
Dude you were one awesome Sys Admin.
Joel left about 2 years ago... Tony is still there. Brehmer is the IT Support Manager now.
Doing great! You? I know your daily drive looks like a fun one :)
I am still at “The Pack”, but I transferred out to Villa Rica Snacks 5.5 of no traffic commuting. No --- I’m not the Sys Admin.. Corp moved to a new building, not sure if you heard. It was 39 miles one way and about an hour ½ due to horrible traffic. Anyway... I work for the Snacks Division in Operations Planning (Planning, Buying, etc.) the coolest part is that I write Crystal Reports for my department and plant. I also own a commercial cleaning service
www.deloachs.com that I started in 2005 and has since been doing well. I have no plans on leaving PPK because of that though. The business is getting closer to allowing my part to be working “on it” and not “for it”. Some of the bigger guys may persuade a sell some day, but my plans are to keep it. I have plans for a second LLC to start-up late next year.
Your truck is off the chain! AN ABSOLUTE PERFECT CHOICE, MICKEY. Be watching for me. I’m new to the site and I will be reading about your truck a lot. I’ll have to slow it down if your ‘09 KR starts giving me the new truck fever though.
My truck ’01 AZ Beige and Deep WW Blue Lariat. It is old, but it has god history and is near flawless. It has always been a DeLoach truck and a bank has never held title. A while back, I had a small ’06 Z71 Chevrolet Colorado Crew. Things changed when I got a cool phone call one day, but not before dropping a chunk on the Chevy for a decked out tonneau. I must have picked over just about all of ‘em for months. The had to have list --- remote opening, lighted and interior matching headliner. Oh Yeah,THAT PHONE CALL. It was --- My dad, “... I’m getting another truck... would you like my gold truck for a $1.00?” --- Done deal. The plan was to use the F150 as a company truck, but I got rid of the Colorado anyway. Since I’ve had it, there have been a few things I’ve done to it and thanks to this site, e.g. resoldered joints on my instrument cluster to fix an intermittent odometer. (That’s how I roll, like the McDonald’s Dollar Menu)
It is very good to hear from you. Please reply and tell me about things since PPK.
And later... I know we’ll be talking again on the forums.
