If you live in an area that is very very flat and you're doing mostly highway driving you might not see a huge increase in fuel economy because that's when the truck should be its most efficient. That said I know that a lot of attention was paid to tweeking the 09s as much as possible to get fuel economy numbers up, but we haven't been to a lab to verify. The Econ model isn't really a fuel economy programmer it's just the 87 tune from the Max Energy with no tuning features. So you would be better off getting a Max Energy since you want to correct your speedo for a tire size change. Also remember if you buy one you have 30 days to test it out and see if it's something you want to keep. If it isn't just send it back and get a full refund, no questions asked.

I have seen maybe a 1-1.5 mpg increase overall since I installed it. I drive alot of miles each week and my routes are always different so sometimes it is hard to track mileage. I had ordered the SCT with custom tunes from Don at Lasota Racing but when it came in last Thursday my PCM has been reflashed by the dealer for the harsh 1-2 shift so my strategy code was different that what the SCT had been programmed for. I called Don and he then in turn called SCT about this and when he called me back he said that he wasn't sure that he was confident with what SCT had told him in regards to updating my tunes for the new strategy code and he said he would be fine if I wanted to return it and get a refund. I did that and then I called Justed at VMP Tuning and discussed this with him. He has the flash tuner already and will have my custom tunes for my new strategy code out in a few weeks (hopefully). I am looking forward to that.

If i did it again i would do the +18 offset or 5.71Back spacing. even with 33x12.5 I had a ton of rubbing, both front and rear of the front wheels wells. I do not have a rub issue at all now that i trimmed the plastics. However, I think i really need a set of fender flares. My problem is that i have a bunch of stone chips on the doors already but i dont have room to add the flares!!!! not sure what i am going to do about this now.
