Are you talking about that old Russian Jeep? The Data Plate on it (for what 'Russian' I can read) says it is a 1974 WAZ. Fun little rig. Little 4-door / gas 4-banger / 4-speed with the standard old 'JEEP' style tranny & xfer case shift pattern. Full floating axles. Tough as nails. Ran like a Champ, but was a bitch to get filters for. Had to do a little 'creative' plumbing to get a K&N kit on it.

It is a service bulletin provided by ford advising certian vehicle owners to add the drain hose elbow to the A/C drain which directs the flow downward. Prior to adding this, the flow came out of a horizonally positioned tube. While traveling at high speeds, the water fails to drain due to the draft of air traveling towards the tube. This causes buildup of water and can lead to water on the floorboard which is what I had. It was darining out of the foam seam of the hvac pipe traveling through the firewall.

What is the 'repair' that your are doing with the A/C Elbow? What is wrong that needs fixing?
