Great look for the new truck... Very strong plus an outstanding color choice... Nice...

lol yeah, even with my custom tune and 3.73 gears the truck does hate hills and highway now. I like the look of 20" wheels on these trucks, fills the huge 4wd wells just right, and a 33" tire looks just right.

because 35s on a leveled truck look retarded, way too much tire. my performance suffered enough with 33s.

How goes the Insurance and Replacement Rig search? Hope you're having success.

Are you going to get to recover / salvage much of your stuff off of the wreck (rims, stereo...)?

Looking at the damage closer, it looks like your rig took the hit well enough - not a lot of damage to the cab and beyond. Having seen some of the other front-enders posted on this site, that seems to be the trend. The F-150s can take a good hit and still let their passengers survive and even walk away. I hope to never test it myself, but it is nice to know.
That said however, I remain disappointed with the apparent lack of strength of the Front Bumper. Of course I don't expect it to remain unscathed, but looking at the photo, it looks like it is nothing more than sheet-metal, likely to deform on a little 3mph hit in a parting lot - let alone a 20mph hit on a SemiTruck. Not what I would expect of a 'Truck'. My old F-150 went through a cedar split rail fencepole without a scratch. What happened to those days?
I wonder if the Rear Bumber is also as week. Maybe I'll look into some aftermarket steel bumpers before I actually get to test the ones that I have (knock on wood). I know you Texas Rancher guys put some scookum bumpers on your trucks down there (to push cows around?). I may have to get me one of those. 'FabFour' builds some pretty nice bumper kits.
Good luck with the insurance company and finding a new girl. I would recommend a SCrew if you can find one. They are a pretty handy cab to have.

Really bummer. She was a nice rig.
What are your plans now? Insurance gonna take care of you and let you build another one?
