    Its actually really easy to get the bracket off. If you lift up the splash guard you can get a long screwdriver in. You push on the tabs and pull one side at a time. When the tabs let go the top just comes right off. That way you don't break it and you don't have to drop any f-bombs in the process. Let me know if you have any more questions.
