I did the exhaust first, ran it for a year I would say. Than did the S&B intake a month later did the Gryphon than 3 months custom tunes came. Also did the efans, under drive pulleys and troyer valve body with mag hytech deep dish tranny pan. Next is long tube headers and hi flow cats with a borla muffler all 3" in, 3" out. Than get some fiberglass fenders and run 37" projects and regear to 4.88!
I've got about 13k miles on the XMT's right now about ready for the 2nd rotation. They still have the little whiskers or pegs on them from when they were new. I would guess I could get 40k out of them given as they are at 13k with zero noticeable wear so far.
yup, not to bad they have a little hum, buts its not bad at all. It was buy 3 get one free. I just took a 3 hour trip to Canada and me and buddy didnt mind the sounds (he even feel asleep, haha). Its not like a super swamper
Yeah I installed both myself Troyer has really good directions for both and no I haven't noticed any problems with either one they both seem to be doing really well and I really enjoy the extra horsepower they freed up
I'm not sure yet, I'm awaiting admission. That should not be a problem though since I have a 3.5 GPA after 3.5 years of school at a Junior college, Texas Tech, and West Texas ATM. If I was guessing from looking at the Construction Science degree track 2012-2013. I take it you go to ATM?
I also love the dynatechs. they are obviously expensive but I would buy them again if given the option. Heres why - they make my truck sound much deeper and give it a bit of the throaty/rhaspy tone. I got some noticeable results from them - combined with the maggie, s&b, tuner and cats - My truck really pulled before i added the tires. Your check engine light will probably come on with this upgrade, but if you get a custom tuning done - they can turn that off for you. Oh and be prepared to have a loud F#$#$ing truck. Cheers. take note too that the km2's will make you slower. which is why I am already planning to gear up. feel free to ask anymore questions or chat I'm 23 and it appears we have the same taste
I can pretty easily say that I love my KM2's. they seem to be wearing evenly so far - have had the truck into the tire shop after about 2 thousand miles and they are wearing just fine. However - they are a bit noisy, but i usually drive with windows down and radio up so it doesnt bother me at all. And the other thing is, you can kinda feel them rock you back and forth at really low speeds - due to the big knobbys. So you sacrafice a little smoothness and some quietness. Cant tell you how long they will last though. Hopefully a long time!
There are 2 6mm bolts at the bottom of the panel, take those out. Pull the little plastic piece off the door handle, revealing two 8mm bolts. Take those out too. Now pop the window button panel using a big flat screw driver and pulling up hard. Use force, it will feel like it will break but it wont. Disconnect all the plugs. There is a single 10mm bolt, remove that. Once all the bolts are out, lift straight up vertically on the plastic panel and it will pop right off.
I've had my truck for about 2.5 years I've had my lift for a little over a year. My truck is my baby and it has been through hell and back and never faltered once!
