I never thought the Conti's were great tires, but you and I both know selection is limited at 23's. I will probably ride my tires to the wear bars before considering a different wheel package. I have gotten into this audio system (which is now completed) and it set me back so much money I am embarrassed to even mutter the numbers. But them again, I am a compulisive buyer and I ended up with enough equipment to outfit three complete audio systems....no joke. So you know, in keeping with my style, three sets of tires....three audio systems....lol

Looks great. If you have not already, post some pics on the forum. Great looking ride!

Thanks, yeah, same size just in 22's and I have to tell you, the truck rides totally different, my wife even says the same thing. Not sure why it is, maybe the Conti's are a different ply rating but the 22's I went with Sumitomo tires, I have those on my trans am too. its crazy, like a totally different ride, really.

i looked at the plans u had posted for the dual sub box and was wondering if you think the subs could be mounted in a down firing position.

    ARCuhTEk,
I pulled my back rest off 2day.
I followed your directions they work pretty good.
I didn't use a screw driver, I used one end of a channel lock pliers. It gave a better angle.
I posted a couple pics to show the angle you gain.

    Also the sub doesn't fit.

    ARCuhTEk,
I'm thinking about moving the factory sub to behind my seat.
I want to free up that floor space for storage.
I've read your instructions & they look great, & very simple.
I have a couple questions for you, how much room is back there?
Do you think the factory sub would fit?
    Thanks in advance.

I did a layout of the sub box that you had posted in 3D. I was hoping that you could take a look at it before I build it. I thought that it could also be used as a plan set to share.
But I have no idea how to post an image file here. Could you email me at: Lthrnek89@yahoo.com so I may send this to you? Thanks for all the INFO

Yea I guess Ill go with two tens under the seat 5.25 or smaller in a sealed box. but man those thin subs are rediculous. look amazing. but is do you have a deminsion sheet already drawn up for 2 10's under a supercrew seat with 5.25 depth and wide as the seats go? appreciate your help

Hey man a few questions, I have a supercrew without a seat lift. Is it possible to have 12's under the seat or does just 10's fit? And is it possible to fit 3 subs in the same box underneath the backseats?
