I rub the sway bar at full lock with mine. Not a big deal it only happens in parking lots. Don't kow if you saw it already but Tread Depot posted a thread in here as a site sponsor and gave out a coupon code. It may have only been for a full set though?

Oh OK I didn't catch that part in the post I read. I debated 3 sizes, 305/50, 305/55 and 275/60. Ended up deciding the 55 was more than I wanted to pay for another inch and that I liked the width of the 305/50 a little more than the height of the 275/60. I am curius to see what they look though? Especially on a factory wheel.

Just curious if you had got those coopers on yet? Be sure to post pics when you do!

Hey buddy,
Yesterday I stopped in at a local off-road shop to get a quote on a lift/wheels/tires. Subsequently I left there a little disappointed and was hoping for a better experience. Well at that moment I remembered I read the mission statement for BDS Suspension once and recalled their views on the market as a whole. This got me thinking because since 1997 they have been known as the leading suspension company in the world with regards to customer service, price, and quality. I also recalled the mission statement of Auto Springs who offer the best leveling kit on the market for the cheapest price.
I say all that to say why isn't there any off-road shops that share these same views, values, and quality of workmanship. I mean every off-road shop I've been to over charges for labor. It's just common practice I guess but why, they aren't in dyer straits for customers or work. They generally keep very busy. So my proposal to you is why don't you and I open our own shop. I mean this has been something that has been in my mind for a long time but now it seems to make more sense and is becoming even more clear. I see places all over town like cigar shops, exhaust shops, truck shops, and so on that are owned and operated by retired military guys. They seem to understand the market and obtain more and more customers by the way they conduct their day to day business and how they communicate with their customers (how the customers are treated). But I don't see any point on starting something like this after my Army retirement. I think our knowledge of business operation, mechanical know-how, and our common courtesy will set us apart and field the majority of business. So what do you think? Is this something that you could possibly be interested in? I would obtain the bulk of the financing required to open the business with the understanding that you would run the day to day operations, as I'll still be in the Army. Profits would be shared by deducting overhead, paying employees to include yourself, and paying back loans anything after that would be a 50/50 split. I would not have a salary like you would because I won't actually be involved in the day to day. So your pay would be salary plus profit. I would just take my share of the profits. This way it keeps everything equal between you and I. Of course I'll be in the shop occasionally when I could. This won't be something in the near future but I'm going to go ahead and do a little research on it. I'd like to actually do this in about 3-5 yrs. I think it will fill the gap for our retirements. Let me know what you think to include any further ideas. Take it easy.

yea, I'm with you on the noise noise... but the sub doesnt always have to be turned all the way up, I love the clarity of my system, the sub volume knob is great for on the fly adjusting from song to song and genre to genre. as you can see I like gizmos and potential electrical fire hazards!!! have a good one

The best price I've found so far is $263 bones. However it's OEM, new, and flint in color so it'll be a perfect match for your interior. I'll keep the search going and see what's out there. Also, not sure if you're interested but they make these consoles that fit over the jump seat. Not real sure how it would look or how sturdy it is but it's an option for about $60 bones!

Oh yeah one more thing...I'm checking around for the center console for ya'...What's your price range? and is placing an order and having it shipped in ok? I know you'd prefer a local thing but you know how it is.

Thanks man, I just PM'ed the guy to see if they are still offered and to see if it's possible to pick one up in person. BTW I'm in for Monday, do you mind if I bring my two brothers? They may want to come along as well. Also, be sure to clean your truck up cause you can't have two F150's going fishing and not have a photo op with em'. Thanks again, talk to ya' this weekend!
