I haven't noticed it downshifting unless I'm in tow/haul. I've not been off the road at all yet so can't answer that one.

Nice truck. I have a silver extended cab fx4. Couple of questions I thought I would ask privately just incase there may be something wrong with my truck. Does your truck use engine brakeing even when not in tow/haul. I notice my truck downshifts as I am slowing down. Much like my diesels used to do when tow/haul was engaged. Also, have you messed with the traction control. We recently had an ice storm and when I try to get the tires to spin on the ice, even with traction control truned off, the truck still tries to limit wheel spin.
