Hmm i didnt have any issue at all with my 1.5" kit and stock rims. you shoul be fine though if its just a tiny bit. forward or reverse? just dont turn as hard

I didnt have any problems with mine. im still running factory size shocks even. when and where are you rubbing? it could be a difference in bumper design

google 97-03 spindle lift, it goes between the upper and lower a arms and is what the wheel mounts to. a spindle lift lowers where the wheel mounts. in all it cost about 400 for the lift and a grand for wheels and tires.
