hey can you send me pics of that chevy? my grand father is giving me the exact same truck (he doesn't need his anymore) and i am planning on lifting it like what you had and use it as a ranch truck.

I believe that it was around $125 for either an inch or inch & 1/2, I have not put it on yet. It is a Fabtech part. For the front they say to put the truck in 4hi, and drive 40-45mph and if you have a vibration replace the front, I have no plans on driving in the snow so I wont be worried about that. There is a spec in the instructions for the lift that say how long the shafts should be, but if you hold off and crawl under, you can tell by the shiny part on your slip yoke how much has come out of the transfer case.

So you have a spacer for just the rear? The front is still long enough? How thick is the spacer? How much did you pay for it and from where? I'm thinking about just getting new driveshafts made but I want to way all my options. How much longer should I make them if I go that route?. I checked out your myspace pics by the way.....truck looks sweet!

Also, did you have to change out your drive shafts?

Do you have any more pictures of your truck with the new 12" and 40's? I'm going the same route with my 08 FX4 and I am trying to decide on tires. Think I'm going with a 13.5" tire instead of your 15.5" but I want to see if they will look too skinny for my taste. Thanks. The name's Trevor by the way.
