Hi: Before you go to the expense of buying all that high dollar stuff, you might try this system, I have been using for years. I bought a 97 in 2001. It now has 230K on it, and looks like new.
here is what I do, and, for the record, my truck looked just like your pics when I bought it.
Go to Dollar Tree if they have them where you live, and get a bottle of their "Street Appeal" car wash. Wash the truck real well. Before you do, go to WalMart, or whatever you have where you are, and get a bottle of JWax-Kit "Scratch Out" and a bottle of Turtle Wax Color Cure Black polish. Here is what you do: use the scratch out. do not be afraid to "work" the bad spots, I have never had it damage my finish. When you get it leveled, it will "squeak." After you get that all wiped off, hit it with the Color Cure. Now, here is something I do a bit different. Put on a coat. Go to another section of the truck, but keep an eye on that first section. JUST before it hazes completely, take your applicator rag, and wipe it in again, without adding any. It seems to smooth it out a bit more. After you have polished the whole truck, let it set a while and go wipe it down again, (the black polish is hard to see to get off sometimes) Then, if you have the energy, give it a couple coats of no cleaner carnuba, like Mothers california gold, or Mequiars Carnuba. (what I use)
I have used this method for 7 years, and as I say, my truck looks like black glass, absolute mirror reflections, and all the stuff to do it with costs about 10 bucks total.
Hope this helps, and saves you some money,
Chief
