Well thanks for the advice, I am in the process of wrapping things up here & getting a transfer down to that area. I hope to be working in one of those areas. I have also been looking at the cost of a U Haul trailer (my truck already has a towing package) & somehow I will have to find somewhere affordable to rest my head!! I can't wait to get down there!!

Hi, yeah i live in Jackson about 25 minutes from Barnesville, McDonough, and Griffin. Yeah i think Griffin is a pretty nice city, there's a lot of resturants and businesses there. I go to McDonough a pretty good bit for dinner and a movie. McDonough has more sit-down type resturants and a lot of shopping stores. Lovejoy and Thomaston i don't really go to much if ever so i can't really comment on them but i think there are parts of Thomaston that would be considered a rough area. I do go to Macon every now and then but that's mostly because they have a lot of different bars down there with it being a big college town and all.
So if i had to choose out of all those areas without a major difference in the job i think i would choose McDonough or Griffiin. Griffin will be closer to Barnesville though.
Also i just wanted to add, you picked a great place to live in. I have many friends in Barnesville and im there almost every weekend hanging out with them. Over the years i've never found anything really wrong with that town.
