Yeah I didn't think it was necessary, I have an edge evo now and hopefully getting it converted to a gryphon soon so I think I'll just stick with that. I don't do too much extreme offroading or racing anyways so I figured I'd be okay with the 3.73's.

And I hear ya on the exhaust. I was thinkin' about the flush look too and was just curious if there was a specific reason you had yours like that. GL with the case, that's strange that the fitment would be off by that much.

do you think it's necessary to regear with the 34" tg's? I just put the same size on my truck with the 3.73...also, do you like having your tip stick out like that? any sound difference? i'm putting my si/so set up on next week so just curious. Thanks!

Just saw your comment about me getting a 2" autospring lift, but I thought you guys had said that if I wanted to "keep" a little bit of the rake- to go with a 1.5". So far, based on all we had talked about, this is what I think I was rolling with:

305/55/20 tires (Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs): $345 per tire/ $1380 for set of four on www.tirerack.com

20x9 wheels (KMC Monsters- the black ones): $271 per wheel on www.wheelsnext.com

1.5” ProComp level in front (Still figuring this out with you, though. What's the difference between a leveling kit and an auto-spring lift?))

**Then something having to do with off-setting?? What does this do for me?**
Oh just re-read your message about how far I want them to stick out. Not too far. BUT, I like how far out the guys tires stick out on that truck you guys recommended I look at to visualize the wheels.

LAST EDIT- really like a little bit of rake. Saw a picture from that link for the autospring, and it looked completely level. IS it, or is there still some rake with a 2 inch level? If I get a 2 inch level, are bigger tires than 305/55/20s able to fit? Just curious.

MDHAWKIN, man you don't know how helpful you've been in my search slash understanding of tires/wheels. Question though. In one post, jerrybizzle said- "Agree hawk. I would suggest 305/55/20. I have seen some members on here with those and I think they look awesome on a leveled truck." Then you said- "Agree, would fit your application perfect. Basically thats a 33x12, and there are a lot of tires to choose from in that size." So, I was tracking the tire size being a 305/55/20. But then you went and said 33x12 and I got thrown completely off. haha. When you say 33x12.....are you refering to the wheel size I should accompany with that 305/55/20? If so, then I'm tracking I need to get a 1.5" front (am i right?) leveling kit from procomp, then any tire/wheel combination of 305/55/20s + 20x9 wheels?

I'm an idiot....but I feel it coming together.

That + offset will help, and yes they will "fit" but I would expect to do a little trimming. I also assume you have a leveling kit too? I did not have to do any trimming but I am using factory wheels. Should be a good looking setup.

I really like the look and price of the trail graps. I am hoping to fit some 295/70/18 tires. I just bought some 18x9 chrome monsters with 18mm offset. Ive read that i should be able to fit these tires hopefully without trimming. What do you think? should this set up work? Do you think it will look decent?
