It took us nearly two full days. We started on Friday mid morning and completed it on Saturday, and it was pretty late. Keep in mind that we had lunch and beers and were farting around during the install, but I would say that if you give yourself two days, that should be plenty. We also replaced my upper control arms (which added about 30-40mins) and replaced the lower BJ's...that added about an extra 2 hours or so. The cutting of the frame ear took about 40mins as well. We had no real hang ups or problems, but we did use a lot of tools plus during the install, one of our two air compressors took a dump. I hear of guys doing lift installs in a single day, and although I think it is possible, I also feel it's real unlikely for a couple of guys using floor jacks in a home garage to do it so quickly. Ah, what's the rush? One thing to plan for is to be sure a local shop is available the day you finish to do your alignment (and mount your new tires if you buy new rubber).
Ping me any time with any questions, and good luck!

hey how do you like your alpine door speakers? I was looking at doing the same thing you did with the 6.5's in the front and 5x7 in the rear.

Hey Mr. extreme, i was wondering where did you get your exhaust kit from? I read in a post that you bought it off ebay as a complete kit maybe for a really good price! I was wondering if you could give me all the info, so i could look into getting that exact same kit. I have a 2004 Ford f150 single cab with the 5.4l v8 FX4. Thanks
