Looks like a quick and easy shade-tree mod. I was going to get a regular CAI Kit at some point (and Exhaust), but this seems like something good to do in the meantime.
Have you noticed any performance difference with the GOTTs Intake and Drop-in K&N?
Have you done (or will do) anything with your Exhaust System?

In response to the work I do, I am a college instructor. I have many interests, one of those is photography. Since I live in the mountains of Southern Oregon I like the advantage of having my laptop with me for images as well as staying in touch. My scanner is extremely useful for the weather updates as well as information on any wild land fires that might be in the area. I travel many Forest Service and logging roads in my neck of the woods so it is useful. Besides it looks cool.

Thanks for the comment on my truck. I routed the PIAA wiring from the light bar between the bumper cap and bumper and enclosed the exposed wiring with plastic wiring loom from each light. After mounting the harness hardware in the engine bay near the battery, I continued routing the wiring through the firewall. There is a rubber plug that you can remove on the upper firewall passenger side. I removed the glove box so I can access the wiring (very hard to reach; I used a hanger with the wiring taped to it so I can push through and grab), and then routed through the dash behind the stereo and over to the driver’s side. I used the PIAA switches and mounted one on each side of the steering wheel right below the gauge cluster. Hope that helps!

The tires are 305/45R20. I got them before I leveled the truck. It's kinda nice having the tires slightly smaller than max for the lift so my tires won't rub anything under full articulation. The spacers were only supposed to be 2.5" but ended up lifting just over 3". The 4wd still works fine. I got the spacers off ebay, I inspected the crap outta them before installing them, they've been great so far.

Nothing on the rear - no clearance or rubbing issues but the front is very close to the molded mud flaps.

Thanks again for the comments. The King Ranch had a 2-inch Daystar and I was able to fit the 305/65R20s (33.4 inches tall) by using a 20-inch wheel with the factory backspacing. No rubbing at all and it drove like stock but definitely had a bigger stance. Good luck on yours!
